Is it odd that I find I like using GIMP far more than I like CS3?

I'm sure the fact that I know GIMP much better has something to do with it, but I think it goes beyond that.

For one thing, CS3 is always complaining about 32bit colour. Certain things only work -with- it, certain things only work -without- it. For another, I can't apply the majority of the filters the majority of the time, and when your art is as filter-heavy as mine is, that's just plain suck. Those are the only botherances I've come across so far, but they're pretty big ones. I'm sure there are a few little ones I've not mentioned simply out of overlooking them.

Pluses, though; I love the brushes. I could probably -get- the brushes for GIMP, but I'm too lazy, so having them already there is nice. Also, there are plenty more layer mode options, which I like to see, but it seems to me they behave differently from GIMP's, which I don't like to see.

Oh well. I guess I'll fiddle around with it some more, but I don't see anything worthy of upload being created with it any time soon.
